A Little About Me
My name is Karen Shaw and I have been fascinated by history since I was a wee girl. I have experience researching family trees and history. I hold a Librarianship degree and a PG Cert in Genealogy from Strathclyde University. I've worked as a research assistant in higher education, volunteered in family history centres. I have had articles published in local family history magazines, 'History Scotland' and the Quinepedia blog (Robert Gordon University). I am currently researching folk from North East Scotland and their work with the 'Scottish Women's Hospital' during World War One. I am happy to offer free talks on this subject to local groups.
